                               RESOLUTION NO. 19446
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE 
                   CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST, 
                   RESPECTIVELY, AN ADDENDUM TO AN AGREEMENT 
                   WITH DOWNS ENGINEERING, INC., TO INCLUDE 
                   ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATIVE TO CONTRACT 
                   NO. 76B, DAYTONA HEIGHTS COLLECTION SYSTEM 
                   II, FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-FOUR 
                   THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($24,400.00), WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby 
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Addendum to an 
       Agreement with Downs Engineering, Inc., to include engineering 
       services relative to Contract No. 76B, Daytona Heights Collection 
       System II, for an amount not to exceed $24,400.00, without prior 
       approval.
